The Week #3

This week has gone by so incredibly slowly, it's been quite torturous. I've reached a standstill with homework, and my procrastination skills have reached an unknown level. Instead of working on Friday, I went to Boots and spent too much money (not even on presents for other people) and yesterday I spent the majority of the day decorating the tree - video will be up shortly!

I've been loving anything Lorde recently, her album is on constant replay. It's wonderful to see young people becoming successful by their own merit, I can't believe she's only 17 but she has an amazing voice.

I'm now counting down the days to the Christmas holidays - only one week left! We have the Sixth Form Pantomime at the end of the week, and I'm actually really excited. I may not have any lines but I get to take part in the iconic dance which will be fun! Once the week is over, I can finally catch up on sleep and stop thinking about deadlines (for the first few days at least, then I have to force myself into making notes and actually consolidating the things I've learnt this term... yay?).

I'm planning on doing a (very cliched) '12 days of baking' feature once the holidays get going - I really want to challenge myself baking-wise and learn some new skills, such as working with pastry and bread! If you have any baking suggestions, please let me know! I've only thought of about 7 or 8 things to bake so far...

I'm planning on filming a haul video (my first!) some time in the next week or so, once I've figured out how to light videos and have finally got round to decorating my room! So watch this space!
