Iceland #2

The second instalment of my photographs of my visit to Iceland last week. These include a volcanic beach, the 'Pompeii of the north' (on the island of Heimaey), a waterfall which, despite looking beautiful from the ground, we had to climb 445 steps to reach the 'summit' of, a volcanic landscape and two glaciers. See if you can guess which photograph is which! Iceland was an amazing place to visit, and if I ever have to chance to return I will go in a heartbeat! Everywhere you turn there is a beautiful landscape to behold, and I would recommend that everyone go, if you are able to!

    1. Yeah, it was below freezing every day in Iceland! Hopefully it'll warm up soon here in England :)

  2. Lovely to see your pix of Islandia! We've just returned from our own trip — dreadfully expensive for us Yanks, though very much worth it! I've joined the ranks of those longing to return...
