Iceland #1

On Friday evening I returned from a 5 day geography trip to Iceland with my school. I had never been before, so it was really exciting to go, and I enjoyed the trip so much! On the first day, straight after landing, we visited the Blue Lagoon spa which was absolutely incredible! Anyone looking for a relaxing spa weekend should definitely go there, it was beautiful and amazing. I took so many photographs on the trip, so I've split them into two posts! The sights we saw on the first day were part of the Golden Circle tour, and included the exploding geysers and some incredible waterfalls. The following days we saw some glaciers, and an ice berg lagoon that should have been incredible but instead was covered in a thick layer of snow! On the final day we went whale watching, and we were lucky enough to see some killer whales. Sadly, I didn't get any photos of them! However, more photographs of the trip will be up shortly!

  1. Hi. Love your blog. These are great photos. My son went on this trip at the end of last year and he loved it - his photos made me want to visit Iceland too. Looking forward to your next lot of photos.

    1. Thank you very much! It's such a beautiful place, the ice heart he photographed for you is so sweet!

  2. This is what he brought me back from Iceland:
